The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (the "Code") is an important international regulatory security initiative developed by the International Maritime Organization. The Code contains security-related requirements for governments, port authorities and shipping companies, together with a series of guidelines on how to meet these requirements.
ASI team members have conducted detailed Port Facility Security Assessments
(PFSA) and Port Facility Security Plans (PFSP) in full compliance with ISPS codes
requirements for a number of major European ports.
ASI applies its expertise in IMO/ISPS regulations when working with port authorities on Comprehensive Facility Security Plans. These plans include a security assessment, development of a Port Facility Security Plan, training and drills, and appropriate preventive and mitigation measures against security incidents and terror attacks.
